I think this is where I struggle. Showing action as a static picture. Most of my stuff seems a bit boring. Definitely a cool "shot".

@adam Static pics do nice in say portraits or a still life. In pics like this , the idea is telling as story in a single shot ( or at least start the viewers imagination). The " action" is often in the details. In this case the muzzle flash suggests the action ( it can only be seen for a split sec IRL).
The trick is sugesting or creating tention
At least that's my view
