I wanted to do a quick comparison and honestly... The Forender ports are just better. I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to get the model on the right, regardless if it's an improved Shinteo version or not:
Shinteo has some good models, but let's be honest. He ports way too many daily and doesn't put as much of an effort into each one to make them look super polished.
not only that but he also does very little testing on his models I have used like half of the ones he has converted and of them 90% have something broken on them. Just stay away from his models unless you like finding ways to work around broken models. I can't even tell you how many times he fucks up the model rigging or teeth or eyes-popping out of the model like his original tifa.
Honestly, I don't care about the models in of themselves. I just want the textures. In terms of the morphs, I have enough assets to shape the body how I want should I even want to have the body be identical. Which I don't, my Aeris needs a bit more meat on her bones. So the issues with the models are irrelevant to me.
