Huge thanks guys. With your help the eyes look pretty much perfect now. I really like using IGLK3, it adds a vibrance to the color that I haven't been able to replicate from other light sets or with Photoshop. Speaking of, I'm not good with Photoshop, creating a small reflection highlight is easy enough, but adding a pupil in the right location and not have it look unnatural is currently above my skill level. Needless to say, Photoshop and I don't quite see eye to eye yet, but I have found it very helpful in fixing light damage on objects.
The main fix used here is a cornea reflection from Natural eyes for Genesis 8. I also added an iris material from it which gives a more rounded pupil, and added the default scelera. Increased eyes cornea bulge under shaping to 100% for better reflectivity from an added spotlight and overall realism. Had to use some options from Real eyes for Genesis 8's readme to make it less resource intensive. This is what it looks like now:
