I get a "Duplicate IDs found" warning from Daz Studio frequently, and there is a script to correct it - but is it really an issue? It doesn't seem to have any impact on my scenes or rendering. Has anyone had this actually cause problems?
No problems with saved characters and the rest but this started happening to me recently. It happened in the past but it's more frequent now. Looking through the Log I detected multiple morphs that were screwed up for some reason. I'll have to go back and see what gives. To me it appears to be looking for morphs that were never used on the characters. I just hope & pray it's not a long task correcting everything. Did you update Studio recently?
I've never heard of a script to correct this. Care to enlight me?
Update. I'm getting target output not found across morphs and expressions. Never had this problem in the past, it started happening a few days ago.
I did recently upgrade to the latest version, but it doesn't seem to behave any differently than the previous ones.
I'm still getting the duplcate error even though I deleted and reinstalled the offending items. In fact I'm now gettimg a missing items error when loading saved characters, i've never had this happen before. This all started when I updated Studio to the latest version.
I haven't really experienced any new issues, but there is one issue they can't seem to fix - which is when you click on a body part in the scene window, sometimes the entire character will go flying off into some weird pose. Easy fix - just press Ctr-Z - but still annoying.
Other than that, I've often wished Daz would stop fixing things that aren't broken.
I remember the character flying off but now another issue, this time on G8 male. When the fist is clenched the fingers appear to become detached from the hand, kind of broken if you like. I'm going to clear everything up and install Studio once again.
Apart from the broken hand and other missing item errors everything is working as it should...Still broken.
