Hi everybody...
I just finished a drawing project ... mostly portraits of daz3d genesis 2 females. I would like to share those with you.
I have put them in an album for you on imgur (29 drawings):

Let me know if you like them or not....
thanksSeptember 10, 2018 at 8:38 pm #755579They are very good, it actually looks like you have used some kind of Iray add on, so very well done.
September 10, 2018 at 9:51 pm #755647What is a drawing project?
September 29, 2018 at 4:45 am #781084I REALLY like this one. This looks very 3D, like a 3d foil print. If you know what I mean. Very pleasing to me.
September 29, 2018 at 6:03 am #781149Very nicely done
September 29, 2018 at 8:21 am #781283You telling me you drew these with pencil on paper?
September 29, 2018 at 9:58 am #781351I have no doubt that people are capable of ridiculously realistic pencil art. http://www.cuded.com/2013/02/50-mind-blowing-pencil-drawings/
The style is just very odd. Kinda uncanny valley (ish)
Photorealistic face in 3d and quick sketch hair.
I am normally one to embrace different "most" of the time but this pulls my brain/eyes to think its a mix if multiple formats. If its all by hand, its very impressive but not my taste. If its a mixed format, its ok but not my taste.
September 29, 2018 at 10:10 am #781361Clicking the link you provided and I overlooked, I like the nude the best. I think it fits the style the best. My second would be the cowboy hat. The rest dont really appeal to me. Im guessing you said sketch to describe a style and not actually doing them in pencil.
Either way id like to see more like the ones I listed. Perhaps a mix of the 2.

@d0gg0d
I started drawing when I was four. At the age of seven I got my first oil-paint kit from my parents. I'm 64 now, so I can say that I have a little bit of experience. For many years I had a living from my drawings and paintings. Due to an hernia operation a decade ago which went wrong my nerve-system was seriously damaged. I woke up with a paralyzed left leg and my hands were trembling very bad, so I was out of business sort to speak. It took me several years to handle with that and slowly i got more control over my hands but not enough to draw on paper or to paint on canvas again. So I looked for an alternative and bought myself a drawing board and went digital. That worked realy well. Recently I bought myself a new drawing tablet of 21 inch and this serie was actual a try out of the tablet with new technics. I didn't had live models, so I used the daz3d females instead and made a whole serie of them.
Normaly I make drawings like this:
Anyway, I'm glad I still can produce some digital drawings, where you have to create all from scratch. Daz3d is more like composing of an scene and of course with good lighting you can make amazing images. I like that as well, so I contribute now and then my daz3d work in this forum.
It's also a good thing that different people have different tastes and skils.
So, that was a long story.....I wish you all inspiration for your creativity, let it flow as it comes.

September 29, 2018 at 11:06 pm #782015The color one is A-mazing. something I wish I had the talent to do. I much prefer it to the sketches. Using abstract patterns for texture and objects is something I like as well. If I had that ability Id probably never have looked at Daz.
September 30, 2018 at 2:40 am #782217Okay, so I'm going to be the bad guy and just come out and say it...
There is not one single drawn line amongst any of this work. It's all done using filters and effects and certainly not drawn, even digitally.
Don't get me wrong, I like the effect but trying to take acclaim and recognition for "drawing" something that you clearly didn't just pisses me off. People practice and study for years to attain a level of skill where they are comfortable showing off their work and what you're showing is simply using some digital techniques over basic renders.
If @dynamico wants to prove me wrong, then go ahead and post the rough sketches, the provisional work leading up to your finished pieces. I know for a fact that there are very few artists working digitally that don't save their work multiple times as a matter of course. Losing a piece you're working on can be heart breaking.
@d0gg0d, that colour one looks to be a photo ran through a filter, you can do similar through apps on your phone. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.moonlighting.painnt&hl=en_GB is one such app.[edit]I take it back, there are a couple of lines that you're drawn, I noticed your hand on the hairband of the Asian girl.
And I would hazard a guess that best shows your skill level as your line-work goes. [/edit]September 30, 2018 at 8:38 am #782520What can I say...?
Of course I save my work multiple times. But when I am completely satisfied with my creation I delete them all, keeping only the end result.
However, What I can do is show you the savings of a drawing I just finished this morning and the end result. Hope you are satisfied with that.

September 30, 2018 at 8:55 am #782543Are you trolling or what? Those definitely are just run through some free photo art filters.
September 30, 2018 at 9:09 am #782552You are free to think what you want. I don't have to defend my work here because I know who I am and what I can....
Thanks to people like you, I have made the decision to stop sharing here any drawings I made or will make in the future. Just to prevent discussions like this. I'm done with it.
