Sometimes things just work out well. This one just happened to come together and didn't take much to get it "right". I intentionally created complementary colors in the lighting around the subject (light orange, light blue & white). I Just love how this one turned out.
EDIT: I might have to re-adjust the lights a bit more, the light Orange and Light blue.

This took me somewhere around 27 hours to get "right". Most of that was learning to use daz to render, I've not really ever done that so this would mark the start of that process for me. Love this one!

It's coming along very nicely. Release date is set for Dec 24th and it'll be free but I can tell you that it's very well polished and probably more so than 80% of what you can purchase.Has some really nice QOL links and other goodies. It's still in beta atm but I'm working hard on it so it's looking like it'll make the release date.

The very 1st promo, to me, had a strong hint of Angelina Jolie about it [especially from the lips up].
If this is what you produce after 'just learning' things you should aim for some real money in future.

Thanks for the kind words. I've been putting a ton of time in on this really trying to figure it all out. Had some difficult things to work out and it's all coming together. I put a ton of time in on the character folder and dials. There's not a pic nor color that wasn't put into place without a purpose or reason for it. I love the way it's coming together and hope others will too.I wasn't going to say anything but this character was developed as a real versions of Marge Simpson. I pushed the lips out to account for that art style in the tv show. The character is meant to be a stand-alone that has nothing to do with the Simpsons but that's really where I drew the inspiration from. The earlier iterations of this morph had a longer neck but after talking to the testers I decided to push the morph more into realism. I have plans to do Homer, Bart and lisa as well but I'm not sure yet, I want to see how well this one goes.
So this promo is finally finished. I REALLY love how it came together. The Moon-blue, vibrant orange, warm yellow lamp light and green from the plant. Then the white light from the laptop to light up the subject. The window blinds shadow pointing to her head, just all worked out really well.
So I plan on doing a color-wheel approach to the first 4 promos. Brunette, Black, Red-head and Blond to show the versatility of this particular character by not only eye and hair color but by the character's identity. First promo is a brunette "home maker" type, then the black hair/brown eyes business women type, "wild" red-head and this finale blond as a country girl. Then the remaining promos to show the options (MU's, Skin options) and a finale one to show off the body and head.
I like this one but I feel like it needs work and maybe some color? Not sure but I tried adding a cowboy hat to her right hand and it was just distracting. I tried adding random butterflies to the background to add color but that was also too much of a distraction. I'm going to have to work this one a bit I think.

Thanks!I've rebuilt this character from scratch +9 times and I'm not exaggerating. A rough estimation on the man-hours I've put into this is somewhere around the ball park of 780-830 in 2.5 months. A lot of that is learning to use daz and other software. Just recently ran into an issue with the G8F skin on a 8.1F model and so I remade the character AGAIN. The morphs are set and fixed perfectly and now the separate G8F/8.1F skins are too but I need to fix all the LIE makeups/skin options/eye colors. Then I need to re-render the promos with the new skin, the 8.1F skins look amazing. I'm not completely sure if I'm going to make the Dec 24th deadline but I'm grinding it right now and in the coming week. We'll see lol.
