Hello there,
like the title says, I really struggle with downloads from mediafile, so far every archive I download from mediafile seems to be corrupt.
7zip error:
Connot open file 'example\file\location\examplefilename.zip' as archive
Example\File\Location\Examplefilename.zip
Cannot open the file as [zip] archive
Errors: Is not archiveThis is not related to this site, but only to files from mediafile. Right now I struggle with downloaded "Clash of the Fairies Mega Bundle".
All files from other hosters works just fine without any errors.
Any one has a idea what's happen and maybe a solution?Greets D.
March 12, 2022 at 12:07 pm #17841231. Ensure you have the latest version of 7-zip
2. Ensure your firewall / AV is not blocking the website for some reason. These are the things I can think for now 🙂
March 12, 2022 at 12:23 pm #17841271. It is already latest version.
2. Downloads where fully completed, no internet/av related issue and defender would anyway show a pop up, if there is something inside it doesn't like. However, it is really annoying, because I can't even try to download from mediafire, it's like throwing my points directly into the trash bin. Well, until I know what's going on, I'll make a wide bow to download files from mediafire. But I'm open for more ideas 🙂
Thanks.
March 12, 2022 at 1:28 pm #1784140Um, facepalm. The problem seems related to Jdownloader 2, I tested the file download in Firefox and it worked (yep, I should have tried that first, but never thought that JD could cause this). I will try to ask in JD Forum.

March 12, 2022 at 1:38 pm #1784150no problems with Jdownloader 2
I just don´t let JD Extract the rars. I do it later by hand. But maybe you find an solution. Good luck!March 12, 2022 at 2:56 pm #1784177I also don't let JD extract files. Always the first option I uncheck after installing JD, it just gives an horrified mess. Respect to peeps who use that option, lol. However, something on my end is wrong between mediafire and JD (already did a full re-installation of JD), everything else is working perfectly. I've tried WinRar repair and it showed me something like "Missing end of archive", so I'm just guessing that JD isn't properly finishing the download from mediafire, even if the file size is correct.
