I'm posting when I finish. I've got 1 mostly done but needs light and render. Other than that another one might be possible but probably not more than that. All the entries look great so far. Surprised to see this much involvement.
December 11, 2024 at 1:54 am #2107450"All the entries look great so far." Yep they do and much more participation than I expected.
Maybe we should drop the "seasonal" requirement as there's a lot that don't contain that element and it would be sad to disqualify them on that basis. Would that be too soft? Then again that would piss off those who put the effort into following the comp rules. Maybe a second category?December 11, 2024 at 10:00 am #2107505I agree, all entries are unique and look good, and in very different ways from each other.
I might have stolen the idea of making my entry into a proper calendar from @1138adrianmartinez (in photoshop, it's really a nightmare to make it, so it did take quite some time, but it was well worth it IMO) 🙂
December 11, 2024 at 3:34 pm #2107555@Legolas18 I agree, definitely worth it. You even incorporated the wire bindings. Not to mention it was a clever design to allow you to use portrait oriented images.
December 11, 2024 at 3:37 pm #2107556December 11, 2024 at 4:37 pm #2107568@solemann Thanks 🙂 But unfortunately, Photoshop isn't really designed to do calendars. So I had to make little boxes for each day and then edit them one by one, not that it is easy to select text in it either 🙁
Keep on going though, just make something you'll love to see as your own calendar 🙂
December 12, 2024 at 2:25 pm #2107674December 13, 2024 at 1:59 am #2107748Note to @legolas18 & @lucafeelgood - those images impressed me so much I finally did a local install of Flux/Forge this morning. Wow there were some really big files to download.
Using this tute everything worked without a problem and I'm playing ATM. It's a bit slower than 1.5 but not as bad as I expected. Flux doesn't like NSFW 🙁December 13, 2024 at 10:09 am #2107820@frank22 for nsfw you have to use loras. I am not using any other checkpoints than the base FLUX one (dev).
Overall, yes it's slower and resource hungry, but i love the results. Maybe the best results i got were from a workflow that does pony to flux in one go.
December 13, 2024 at 6:33 pm #2107884I've seen some people say that Flux was deliberately "poisoned" meaning that certain words will be ignored when prompting. You can imagine what they could be. I DL a model (demonCORESFWNSFW) that is supposed to generate NSFW images but it sill struggles with erotica compared to SD1.5. Anyway for SFW images Flux is far superior with following prompts, realism and hands etc. I guess I'll just have to accept its limitations.

I always one up a person’s crazy, and I always fight illogic with illogic to end an argument… And I do so with a straight serious face... For instance. If a person tells me the moon landing didn’t happen and anyone who believes it did is dumb. I one up them by saying, “Obviously! There’s no such thing as a moon… That’s a microscope looking down on us. We’re all in a giant Petri dish being observed by aliens. And those aren't stars... They’re breathing holes poked into the container we’re all living in.”
One upping crazy, or fighting illogic with illogic ends any argument right there and then.
That 9/11 pic certainly did that…. Ended that Donald Trump debate before it started… I shouldn’t have laughed as hard as I did. But in context of my explanation, I think you can see why.
You one upped controversy with controversy …
December 14, 2024 at 11:16 pm #2108103This deffo has my vote for April… It doesn’t state what it is, but those who know will know. A clever subtle design.
December 14, 2024 at 11:24 pm #2108106Depth of field on those shots really makes the design stand out. It looks professional. You have consistency with the character design and theme, with each picture incorporating a relevant festivity or holiday. Something the other Calanders are lacking. It really makes this Calander stand out for me!
