    I was just checking out the Daz Big Cat 2 and the colors kinda look washed out when rendered.. I would like them to have the darker colors.. other characters look good when rendered..

    Any thoughts or suggestions..

    The simplest way is to set Glossy Color and Top Coat Color of surfaces - SkinBody/SkinFace to black, if you don't wanna retouch texture maps or go for a postwork.
    And add a bit Saturation value in Render Settings if you want~

    I'm not 100% sure but it doesn't seem to have IRAY textures. You could try using this:

    Latest version of DBC2 and its add-on do have iRay textures ~

    too bad, such a shame it looks that way. Seems with your method we can at least get it to loose the "wash out".

    Thanks for the awesome tip @windreaver0118 .. looks like I had a very old version of DBC II 🙂

    Got the one from the blog now and it looks darker even without the color changes.. the color changes look sexy 🙂

    Old version

    New one without any changes
    No Change

    New one with color changes
    Colors changed

    @gladson1976

    That's good! Pls be noted there're 2 types of material presets, RSL & MDL (labeled in the upper-right corner of the preset icons). Use MDL for iray preview and rendering, RSL is for 3Delight engine.

    If you cannot find MDL material presets, especially from those old stuffs, search an update first or use the above tool to convert. @chupacabre409 was correct! 😀
