Another factor to consider is electricity cost. The newer (RTX 3000 and RTX 4000) cards offer more performance per watt. So, if you live in an area with high electricity costs and do renders regularly, the card may make up for part of the price difference in electricity costs. Especially if you are running two or more older graphics cards vs one newer graphics card.
