They allow you to change each material zone's color on each piece by simply changing the Base Color in the Surfaces tab and matching the clothing to your taste and needs while utilizing the highly detailed accompanying maps.
With plenty of pre-simulation morphs to change the shape of the dress, you can mix them up to create your own styles.
