dForce Kay Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s)
Kay Hair is a morphing dForce Hair model of a waved bob cut. The dForce hair is grown on a skull cap which is fitted for Genesis 3 & 8 Female(s) (.DUF) and auto-follows most character head shapes.
Iray and 3Delight diffuse color presets are included. You can modify the tints by changing the diffuse color of the hair.

I'm having some trouble with this hair. It loads in as a box in 4.10 (Pro), with geometry in 4.11 but without textures and none of the materials work. In 4.10, the log file says that the geometry simply isn't being loaded. Not sure where I've gone wrong.
This is a strand based hair that doesn't supported by daz 4.10. But I have 4.11 and the same problem as you.
I had a feeling it was strand based. So good, at least the 4.10 issue is out of the way. Now why it doesn't show in the render of 4.11 is another matter.
In the scene tab select KayHairDF
In parameters tab > KayHairDF > General > Line Tessellation > set the "Viewport Line Tessellation Sides" slider to 2 or higher and voilá .... 🙂
