Autodesk Softimage 2015
A little history...
Avid created this software (Softimage), and Wavefront, one called "Alias", later called "Maya", when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth.
And Autodesk came along and bought the patents for both of them.
This version of Softimage is the last one (2015)..., since (supposedly...), Maya included the same techniques, and they threw it away, after spending 35 million dollars...
Softimage has some peculiarities that Maya does not offer.
Obviously, this post is for nostalgics who know what I'm talking about. ABSTAIN from downloading people under 40 years old!!! LOL
Although there is an ISO (prior version), it is better to go directly to SP1.exe, which creates a directory in C: Autodesk. After installation, delete that folder...
This post comes in the wake of yesterday's Redshift engine... Cough! Cough! (Sorry... the dust...)
