Long story short, I was planning on buying a new pc laptop, but have been thinking of buying a Macbook. Am I correct that most of the files here work on Mac as well? I mean aside from programs. Like the DIM installer files and everything are compatible, just not the old exe files? It seems like programs might be harder to get. The point of getting the laptop was to work on modeling and Poser with it. Poser isn't a concern; I own it, and as others like PS that I own, both versions are included. Marvelous Designer, I see at least MD 6 is available here. Now I'm just most concerned with finding Maya...
I assume things like Photoshop brushes are ok, but no idea about most plugins.
I have a mac and a windows PC. My windows PC is my main rendering machine but I will occasionally throw things in for a render on my macbook when I'm at work and it's sitting on the desk next to me *coughs, looks around, hides the fact she's on macbook at the moment posting here 😛 *
As long as you have the Mac version of Daz Studio/Poser/rendering program of choice, everything else works as normal.
