Scene Sorter - Tool for DAZ Studio
"Scene Sorter" is a simple and convenient tool for DazStudio, which allows you to sort the nodes from your scene into custom groups without affecting their functionality.
Its window will not block the cursor's focus, so you can put it aside and continue to work as usual with the help of the "Scene Sorter" tool.
This tool allows you to group your nodes in the way you like, without parenting one node to another or creating a group of nodes in the scene.
You can then select all the nodes from one group with just one click, without scrolling and searching for each node in the scene tab.
You can click on any node from your groups and that node will be instantly found and selected in the scene.
Some nodes (like strand-based hair props) can't be parented to a figure and therefore are sometimes difficult to find in the scene tab, but with this tool, they can be grouped
with their figure and found and selected with one click.
This tool is also convenient for grouping bones or parented props that are nested deep inside the hierarchy of another node (like fingers or the top bones of a tentacle).
Now you can group all your lights, all female or male figures, all clothes and accessories, all furniture or other props,
and easily find them whenever you need to manipulate them.
You can name your groups and add to them any number of nodes, without affecting the actual nodes in the scene.
If you remove some nodes from the scene, just click the "refresh groups" button and those nodes will be removed from all of your groups.
You can remove the nodes from your groups or remove a complete group without affecting the nodes in the scene. One node can be added to multiple groups as well.
"Scene Sorter" is designed to save your time and make it easy for you to work on large scenes with a large number of nodes.
