"It’s a knitted sweater that features a large open back which has gone viral in Japan and has been labelled doutei wo korosu, a phrase which suggests it would excite a virgin man so much he would die."

Texture used in the promo is from "The Shader Plan - Light Knits for Iray"

February 2, 2017 at 11:35 pm #147902Well I did ask if there was anything like this, expecting to have to buy it and post it. And what do you do JohnGate? Only the most baller thing possible and Make it and put it out here for free. Serious badass move man, you rock.
February 3, 2017 at 12:35 am #147950Thank you.
Please let me know if its working or not on your side.
I want to know if I've packaged it correctly.February 3, 2017 at 2:19 am #148059@johngate It's packaged fine as I see it. I do custom installs, but I'm sure anyone could easily get it going. Here's an in-Daz preview of how it's shaping up for me. I did notice that when I tried to apply a smoothing modifier, it threw an error at me. As there's no obj file in the package, there was nothing with which to work, or I would have tried to smooth it myself in Hexagon or Blender. In my humble opinion, I think the hips are out of sight! Very nice job. 🙂 The only thing I was going to attempt with this, is a little smoothing in the chest area, particularly the area between and under the breasts. With more severe shapes (heh heh), it seems to defy gravity and curve upward as opposed to hanging loose in the space between the breast and the sternum. As for the wrinkles along the center axis. I was going to try to lessen the amount of gather to something more along the lines of how it is on the sides of the hips. It works well regardless, and I will certainly be using it on my more waifish ladies. Plus I can always use deformers, if need be, to get the sternum to hang. Thank you very kindly for this. I appreciate your hard work and your generosity. Happy renders!
February 3, 2017 at 3:46 am #148098Thanks, good to know its working. The smoothing modifier is working on my side, I wonder if anyone else have this problem.
Here's another render.
I use "VWD Cloth and Hair" to do some additional draping on the chest with hands inside the sweater. You can freeze the parts you don't want to move and push and poke the rest of the cloth to your hearts content in real time during the simulation. That should solve most of the problems you have.
February 3, 2017 at 4:19 am #148112DOY! The error it threw was on account of the fact that it already has one applied. I never thought to look for the dial from the outset. Thanks for the tip about VWD. That looks brilliant, and I'm certainly not afraid of a learning curve! I would grab it now, but I'm pulling down a beast at the moment and don't want to cripple my DL speed more than Netflix is already doing, LOL. I looking forward to tooling around with it. It'll be nice to get the same kinds of drapes as above. Very sharp renders, and thanks again!
February 3, 2017 at 6:58 am #148218I have to say that looks quite amazing and you did a really good job ^^
I'm gonna try that outfit out as soon as I get out of work today, I really love how it looks :3
Thanks so much for putting time in making something like this and then putting it on for free! That's really fantastic! -
