I'm Kerry, the new girl on the block!
This is my first week as a DAZ user and my library is pretty empty,
so I would like to know what of all the amazing products from Zonegfx I should get like right now.
BTW my goal is to create porn feminization content
so I will be creating transgender characters.

Full Size https://postimg.cc/vxLy3MRgOne thing. If DAZ is open and you install new content, it won't show. You have to either close and re-open daz or, go to the top of the Content Library Tab and right click on DAZ Studio Formats, and then click Refresh.
I installed the Dicktator cock correctly last weekend.
I know I need to refresh my Library Tab in order to see and use the new product, so no problem there.
After that, I tried to install another product but not only it didnt install correctly,
but it fucked up my Dicktator cock.
I had to delete the Dicktator folders and the other product as well, an re-install the Dicktator. The Dicktator works again but I dumped the other product.
Anyway, when I installed the Dicktator, I dragged and dropped the Data, People and Runtime folders into my DAZ Library following the path and it worked.
I haven't installed new content after that.
I got the Female Morphs for G8M ready to install but I'm afraid, if I follow the same path...the contents of the Morphs will mingle with the Dicktator contents and I will fuck up again....I got this https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=122682
the zip is already unzipped and waiting to be installedI don't know what you mean by messing up the dictator. They are two separate items and would go to their own folders.
Try not doing the drag n drop. Do the copy paste.Since your just starting, if you have the space, and extra drives, set your contently library for autobackups in winblows. if you can. that way when you fuck it from day to day, you can restore it to another location and run from there (deleting the broke one). you can also restore from any previous version of a file as well. I think i'm pushing a little over a terabyte of data in content library, and when it gets fucked up, well, i used to be like aw dammit! but now, just like, aw back to yesterday... :(, between that and coding the characters to VAM, i fuck it up often (Really you haven't heard of VAM??? and your doing porn??? look for virt-a-mate on patreon, totally worth the 8$, sandbox VR/NON VR genesis 2) but no futa though. at least not yet.
Tip: Learn how to make a DIM-installer file from assets that doesn't provide one, and install via DIM. Allows you to easily install and uninstall, if something doesn't work.
About 11000 installed assets, and the only issue I'm currently having is a duplicate formula error I haven't tracked down / bothered with yet.

AB, I'll text you later about the restore. Right now my back is killing me and pain meds aren't working.
Errilhl, DIM is overrated. OVERRATED I say.. LOL.. By the time you create an installer, I've installed a few items and am rendering away.. But I haven't had any issues with items with manual install. Though I'm sure DIM files would come in handy if I ever had to reinstall DAZ and didn't have a back up of my library.
I think Eelgoo posted a good tutorial somewhere hete on making your own file system.
Ive been doing that for awhile since poser file structure sux dictator and I just carried it over when I went to Daz.
Hi Kerry welcome to the Zone , to install stuff i just drag and drop the files on to my ( My DAZ 3D Library ) folder, all you need to do is unzip the products main folder locate the sub folders inside it named, people , data, runtime ,environment, templates , lights, light presets, shader, shader presets,animals,props, ect..( this depends on what type of product it is) then just drag and drop each of them folders on to your (My DAZ 3D Library) folder, it will install to the the correct place from there as long as the artist named the files correctly (which some times they don't) to uninstall them correctly is a pain in the you know what lol because you have to locate every file from said product. i hope this helps.
P.S
IMO your better off useing female characters as transgender so get all the head, body morphs, poses, expressions ect.. to use because there is way more stuff out for the female characters
