Hey guys!
I just wanted to pop by to let you know that the surgery went well and I was allowed home the same day. I've had bed rest these last few days and today is the first day I can sit up unaided, so I thought I'd catch you up!
I'll try to get online when I can (pain/painkillers permitting!), but please bear with me.
Thanks to everyone who commented and left well wishes, they are all very much appreciated 😀

Cool, the drugs are fun aren't they. I got to have butterscotch ice cream every evening for a week.
Do you have the clear thin plastic 'tape' (almost like Saran wrap) over the incision? I found that it started itching like crazy after a week, and I went through hell for the three weeks I had to leave it on. Changing it every four or five days was like heaven as it gave me the chance to clean the area, let it air out and apply some soothing lotion.Guess you wont be swinging off the chandelier for a while yet, take it easy and let yourself get better

No sara wrap Ethiopia but the dressings are kinda clear and do itch a bit 🙂
The worst thing is the Anti-Embolism Stockings. Man they are soooo tight!
