I think the current guideline isn't bad, but my main problem is ADHD brain - time is meaningless and I forget stuff constantly. A week and a month can feel the same to me but the longer it is the more likely I am to forget to do it. I try to share everything I can and repost stuff I find elsewhere to fix dead links.
I'd like the idea of a buying club, even if just to take advantage of Prime and Daz+ without everyone having to pay for it, but I suspect it'd get started and fade off quickly.
